Koda

After being separated from his mother at just three months of age, Koda was rescued by our partner, Loretta Risley, at Diamond Bar Ranch in Luther, Oklahoma.

Koda was suffering from pneumonia which caused his mane and tail to fall out and led to skin decay. Loretta visited Koda every day and cared for him until he was strong enough to move to Davie Stables, where we provided the support he needed to continue his healing. We also paired him with Goldie, who was the same age and originated in Oklahoma, to help to nurture his recovery.

Once he fully recovered, we transferred him to Ocala Acres where he continues to thrive today.
