Our five-acre property proudly features lush grassy pastures and extensive outdoor training facilities, including well-maintained riding rings and spacious turnouts. Our dedicated staff diligently tend to the medical needs of our horses, while experienced rehabilitation specialists provide individualized support tailored to each resident with physical injuries. The freedom and variety that the expansive property offers not only helps our horses restore their spirit but also plays a crucial role in their healing process from past trauma.

Sanctuary
Offering a compassionate and welcoming space for rescued residents to recover and recuperate in a safe and nurturing environment, all while receiving the appropriate care and attention they need to thrive.
Rehabilitation
Attend to various health issues including essential dental care, farrier services for hoof maintenance, and the necessary veterinary bills that arise. Additionally, work diligently to restore trust in horses towards humans, which is crucial for their overall well-being. Establishing a regular grooming schedule will also help promote healthy coat growth, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident.
Adoption/Rehoming
Locate potential adopters who are genuinely interested. Reach out to individuals within the horse community and make phone calls to anyone who might express interest in specific horses available for adoption. It is important to engage with visitors at our properties as well as the fosters located at our partner properties. Additionally, execute thorough background checks and provide all necessary paperwork to ensure a smooth adoption process. Help facilitate various needs surrounding the adoption, which may include transportation, resources, and other support services needed for the horses and their new owners.
Equine Therapy
Horse Rescue Alliance is dedicated to providing a second chance to horses in need through compassionate care and rehabilitation. At our partnering facilities, we focus on equine therapy programs that not only aid in the physical and emotional healing of the horses but also promote their transition into loving forever homes. At our partner facility, each horse receives Equine therapy, also known as horse-assisted therapy, which harnesses the unique bond between humans and horses to facilitate emotional healing and personal growth. Engaging with horses offers individuals a chance to experience non-judgmental companionship, fostering an environment where they can process their feelings and build trust. The rhythmic movements of riding can have a calming effect, reducing anxiety and promoting mindfulness. Interaction with these intuitive animals provides opportunities for individuals to develop empathy, patience, and self-awareness, which are essential for holistic healing. Through care and communication with horses, clients often find a renewed sense of purpose and connection, allowing their souls to mend and thrive. individualized attention and therapy tailored to their needs, allowing them to thrive in a supportive environment. Our mission is to ensure that these remarkable animals can lead fulfilling lives after overcoming adversity, thanks to the generosity of our supporters and volunteers.
Training
Develop personalized training programs tailored to the unique needs and characteristics of each horse. Introduce general handling and groundwork techniques that include essential skills such as leading, lunging, standing calmly in crossties, and riding under saddle. Additionally, it's important to familiarize horses with important care practices that involve vet visits, dental work, regular hoof maintenance, grooming, clipping, and other related activities to ensure their overall well-being.
