We are building a national network of humans dedicated to saving equines. Through coordinated rescue efforts, resource sharing, and financial support, our non-profit organization offers compassionate treatment for horses, mules, and donkeys. Through our own sanctuaries we set a new standard for care and cultivate a culture of trust within our community.

Adoption process
At Horse Rescue Alliance, our mission is about finding the right home for our horses, where both the animal and adopter can thrive. We may have a few select horses and young prospects listed, but we believe the heart of adoption goes beyond appearances. It’s about matching the right personality, needs, and temperament to your lifestyle.
We understand that you might be drawn to a certain look or breed, but we want what’s truly best for you and the horse or donkey you’re considering is our primary concern. It is paramount that the bond you form will be one that lasts, and that both you and your new companion will be happy together.
Even if the perfect match isn’t yet posted, rest assured—we have many wonderful animals being assessed, in quarantine or training who may be exactly what you’re looking for. We’re committed to making sure that every adoption is a lifelong success.
